Touching Strangers ;)

I thought the ideas was really good and I actually enjoyed reading what they found out. It was a smart idea for a project.

Depends on the stranger they wanted me to touch ( I know that sounds bad), but let's be honest if they guy was hot and I wouldn't mind but if they told me to go touch a homeless person I probably would decline.

Hugging strangers?

It doesn't really seem like the photographer but much though into the picture. As long as the two people were touching either in some way he took the picture is what it seems like to me.

Videos

Alyssa Schukar - eating disorders and the affect it has on close ones, emotions?
The judges didn't like how most of the pictures were about the same distance apart. They didn't like how some of the pictures were cute off. Also they felt as if the stories she were trying to portray could have been a lot better.
One of the judges liked the picture of the African American man sweeping because it showed depth and they liked the picture of the girl running because it showed the expression on her face very well.

Winner - Dustin Snipes - sports and athletes
The photographer was able to really make him apart of the picture. It was like he was right their next the athletes instead of in the stands watching them.
I liked the different viewpoints the photographer used. He was never just right in front of the subject taking pictures, he was everywhere.

Contest Recap - They would mention a person and then debate on the pictures they liked or disliked. They would debate on whether the bad out weighed the good and if they are worthy enough to win.

Part 1 - Part 6
The two cheerleaders playing pool I agreed with the judges. They all laughed and one of them said, "Who gives a damn." I agree exactly!

The picture of the audience with the coaches eyes behind them was that it was a good idea. I don't agree, I think it was very creepy and shouldn't have been done.

Earthquakes and Sports

It warmed my hear to see this picture. In the Asian culture the elderly are respected and it's amazing see that even through disaster these soldiers are willing to carry this man to safety. The photographer was really about to show a patriotic side of Japan.

This picture is one of the saddest pictures I would say that I came across while looking at the websites. The thought that must have been going through this man's head while he was trapped between boulders with no way out and his only option was the watch as the water surrounded him and slowly killed him.

This picture was really shocking to me. To see a car in the middle of a house truly shows the strength of the tsunami. It was able to pick up a car and smash it through the wall of house it's just wild.
